Our 46 inch Premium EU pine (18mm x 40mm profiled) Single Brace easily slots into place of our Premium stretcher bar frames 18mm x 40mm.

Cross braces are available from 20" to 60" for our 18mm Premium EU pine stretcher bars to further strengthen the frame and are designed to be used across the shorter side of a frame only. e.g in 24''x48'' size frame the cross bar use will be 24''.

Our Premium EU pine (18mm x 40mm profiled) slowly machined, smooth cross braces are strong and easy to fit braces. An essential in today's 'centrally heated' environment. They are kiln dried to an 8% moisture content - The less moisture left in the wood the less likely the braces are to move over time!
